Chase was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen Speir, Jr. He is preceded in death by his father (Chuck) and his grandparents, Charles and Teeny of Vestavia, Shirley Reid of Trussville and grandfather Lafayette Duke Jr. of Gardendale. He is survived by his mother, Lauren Edmundson and stepfather, William Edmundson. In addition, he is survived by his sister Michelle Deal (Mike) and sister Nicolle Jenkins (Daniel). Chase also left behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Chase lived in Oregon for several years before his death, where he embraced his love of the outdoors and severed as an emergency worker during fires and weather catastrophes. He loved serving others in this capacity.
Relatives and friends are invited to join in a celebration of life gathering for Chase that will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham.
