Christopher Allen Nichols

For the past ten years, Christopher served as a Mortgage Underwriter with Regions Bank, where he held the highest level of lending authority. He was deeply respected by colleagues and sales partners.

Christopher found joy in his work, colleagues, love of dogs, Auburn University football, and spending time with his family and closest friends. He had a generous spirit and a steadfast desire to look after the people in his life.

Christopher was predeceased by his father, Clifford Sumner Nichols. He is survived by his mother, Marcia (Bob) Reese; his sister, Robbin Griffis; his nephews, Will Runels, Trey Runels, Luke Runels, Patryk Weber, and Logan Takken; and his beloved dog, Diamond.

Christopher will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and the devotion he showed to family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The family will greet friends at Meadow Brook Baptist Church in Birmingham on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 10-11 a.m., followed by A Service of Celebration for Christopher's Life at 11 a.m. at the church. Private interment will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, Alabama.
