I just found out today that Christy had passed. My husband and I were friends of hers over 20 years ago when she worked out in the physical therapy gym at the old Carraway Hospital where I was supervising the employee gym. Christy was such a fun friend. The three of us spent hours laughing together. I’m sure she is bringing much joy to heaven. See you there one day Christy!!!

Thank you for allowing my life to be blessed by Christy. I have only known her 3 years but when talking to her and sharing photos, it was like we had known each other for many years. My job will not be the same without Christy asking about my boys or dog or wanting to see updated pictures. She had a smile and such personality that she lit up a room, she never met a stranger. I was blessed also by meeting her family the day God called her home. She was so blessed to have the family she had. She will be truly missed ! I know she is rejoicing in heaven with her parents and brother. Roll Tide Christy Ray ! I love you !

I saw Christy almost every day at Shelby Ridge while visitng my Mom.My heart is broken,she will be truly missed.  God bless and Roll Tide

Christy Ray was my niece.She was just 41 years old, but lived a lot of life in that time. She was not expected to live long because she was born with spinal bifida, (open cervical spine), but she outlived her entire family. I have no doubt she has now joined them in heaven, and today they are all rejoicing and singing together;
