Dale Allen West

After graduation from Oakwood Township High School, Dale earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Marketing from Illinois State University. His professional career was in the steel industry with Ellwood National Forge, Senco, and General Motors.

Dale's favorite pastimes included watching Alabama Crimson Tide sports, traveling worldwide, playing golf, watching hummingbirds and owls, and enjoying good music, wine, and beer.

Dale is survived by his wife, Barbara West, to whom he was married on April 4, 2004; five children, Michelle, Erin, Eric, Victoria, and Dallen; six grandchildren, Paige, Gage, Brooke, Jaxson, Brayden, and Isla; and three siblings, Mike, Ronnie, and Lonnie.

The family has planned a private celebration of Dale's life.
