

Deanna graduated from Seneca High School before earning her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Winona State University. She enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse, most recently with Encompass Health in the Birmingham, Alabama area.
Deanna was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Pelham, Alabama. Her main passion in life was to know her Savior, Jesus Christ, more deeply each day and to make Him known. She was enthusiastically supportive of all of her children's church, school, and civic involvements including Plus-Pro. She was a "Cheer-Mom," a Girl Scouts troop co-leader, a Youth Sunday School teacher, and a church youth trip leader and chaperone.
Deanna was predeceased by her father, Bernard Wall, and one sister, Sharon Wall.
Survivors include Deanna's husband, Terry Lavon Bess, to whom she was married on June 12, 2000; her mother, Maxine Wall; three children, Joshua Kaleb Bess, Noah Bernard Bess, and Abigail Elizabeth Bess; sisters, Karen, Barb, and Sandy; and brothers, Bobby, Dennis, Art, and Mark.
The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Pelham, 2867 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, AL 35124, followed by A Service of Remembrance for Deanna at 7 p.m. at the church. The gravesite committal service will be private.
