Diana Elizabeth Marquess, age 65, of Pelham, Alabama, passed away on March 23, 2022. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee McKale Sr. and Elizabeth Ruiz McKale; brother, Richard Lee McKale Jr and sister, Leslie Briere. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend she leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, Michel Marquess, sons; David Michel Marquess and Jason Michel Marquess (Kassy), grandchildren, Josie Adel Marquess and Dylan Michel Marquess, brother; Joseph Abel McKale (Brenda). Diana loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; she also loved to garden and her work with the Senior Citizens of Pelham and Alabaster. She never met a stranger and had a unique smile and laugh that you could never forget. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 27, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, with a Celebration of Diana’s life beginning at 2:00 pm. Private burial service will take place on Monday at the Alabama National Cemetery.
