Donna Elizabeth Johnson Kennedy, 55, of Hoover, AL, passed away Monday evening, October 5, 2015. The Birmingham, AL native was a loving mother, awesome wife, devoted Sunday school teacher, graduate of the University of Alabama, highly accomplished Certified Public Accountant, and generous soul.
Donna was predeceased by her mother, Nancy F. Johnson, and mother-in-law, Sue J. Kennedy.
Survivors include Donna's husband, Kirby Kennedy; her father, Roy W. Johnson (Sandra); two sons, David and Michael Kennedy; one brother, Wayne Johnson (Telia); father-in-law, Billy C. Kennedy; and sister-in-law, Kyle McNorton (Craig).
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. The Celebration of Donna's Life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, and burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Preaching Minister Bret Walters will officiate.
