Most of her friends called her "Mandy," but her family reserved the rights to nickname her "Mimi," "Mee Maw," and "Mandyperson." She was the apple of her parents' eyes, and a fierce protector of her three children and three grandchildren.
After graduation from Pelham High School, Mandy attended Jefferson State Community College. Her people-loving personality was a notable asset in her nursing career with Shelby Baptist Hospital, Birmingham Pediatrics, and McClains & Associates.
Mandy was most passionate about her family. She, however, was also a lover of trivia, all things butterflies, Harley Davidson motorcycling, Alabama Crimson Tide football, North Carolina Tarheels football, South Carolina Gamecocks football, and the music and lyrics of Shine Down, Avenged Seven Fold, Miranda Lambert, and Godsmack.
Mandy, a daddy's girl through and through, was preceded in death by her father, William "Dew" Loving. She is survived by her mother, Donna W. Loving; one sister, Amy Loving; two sons, Jordan Austin Loving (Izzy) and Taylor Gage Evans; one daughter, Grace Ryne Loving (Rylan); and grandchildren, Thaxter McLaughin Coween, William Rylen Loving, Scarlett Wrenn, and Rory Ann Marie Loving; and many extended family members. The birth of her fourth grandchild, Baby E. Babbs, is expected for April 2026.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham from 1-2 p.m., followed by A Celebration of Mandy's Life at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
