Donna Sakezles Marcrum

Donna was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf, cards, painting, and volunteering at Oak Mountain Mission. Donna Sakezles was married to Gary L. Marcrum on June 11, 1960, and their union was blessed with two children.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Marcrum; mother and father, Hazel and George Sakezles, her sister, Doris Merrill and her beloved dog, Frankie.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Massey and Gary L. Marcrum Jr. (Mischelle); grandchildren, Nicole Pastika, Laura Thornton (Haigh), Dylan Marcrum, and Jared Marcrum; six great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Jayden and William Thornton, Bradley, Grayson and Madilyn Pastika.

A visitation for Donna will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6690 Cahaba Valley Rd, Birmingham, AL 35242, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
