Donna Taylor Wall

Donna Taylor Wall, 89, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was born February 24, 1935 in Junction City, Kansas to Minnie Marie Younkin Burbank and Bruce M. Burbank. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Fred Taylor, Jr.

Donna graduated from Junction City High School. She married Frank "Brick" Wall, Jr. on October 5, 1956 in Junction City. They lived in various states as well as Germany during Brick's military career that spanned 26 years.

Donna was predeceased by her loving husband, Col. (Ret) Frank Wall, Jr.; her son, Jeffrey B. Wall; grandson, Graham B. Wall; and sister, Marilyn Heldstab. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle M. Wall; sister, Yvonne Taylor Jordan; five nephews; and one niece.

Donna loved her church, Briarwood Presbyterian, PCA in Birmingham, and volunteering her time - especially as a long-time volunteer for Sav-A-Life Ministries. She will be missed by many, but we are happy she is with her Lord and Savior now.

The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Donna Taylor Wall's honor.
