Donnie V. Bushey

Donnie V. Bushey, 86 of Pelham, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Mrs. Bushey was born and raised in Bibb County, AL. She lived much of her adult life in Detroit, MI, but considered Huntsville, AL to be her hometown, where she spent many years before moving to Pelham to be closer to family. She had a love for gardening and all things outdoors, and was passionate about animals, particularly dogs. With her outgoing personality and zest for life, she left a lasting impression on all those who knew her.

Mrs. Bushey is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bushey. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Collier (John); grandchildren, Stephen Collier (Jennifer) and Lauren Collier; and great grandchildren, Rebecca Collier and Charlotte Collier.

Visitation will be from 3pm until 5pm on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The graveside service for Mrs. Bushey will be at 2pm on Sunday at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
