Wolbach, Dorothy “Dot” Johnson, age 89 of Hoover, Al passed away on June 20, 2016. Mom was the foundation of our home. She was a devoted wife, mom and grandmother. Dorothy is preceded in death by her Highschool Sweetheart and Husband of 62 years, Mr. Charlie Wolbach. She is survived by her children, Jan Moore (Jim); Debbie Pace (Rich); Steve Wolbach (Gwen) and Charlie G. Wolbach Jr; Brother James Franklin Johnson “Jim” (Betty); 13 grandchildren and their spouses and 7 precious great-grandchildren. Dot was an active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church for over 55 years, where she was a 2nd grade Sunday school teacher for many years and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Sanctuary Choir. The family will received friends on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. The Celebration of Life Service will start at 3:00pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Dawson Sanctuary Choir in Mrs. Wolbach’s memory.
