Dorothy Templeton Lyle

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Euphema Templeton, son, Dr. Jim Lyle, brothers, Elmer and Pete Templeton, and grandson Jason Lyle.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. Michael Lyle(Trudy),daughters, Judy Belcher(Hank) and Connie Blalock(Harry), and daughter in law, Sheila Lyle.

Grandchildren, Tricia Wall(Frank), Megan Poss(Cory), Eric Baker(Brittany), Chelsea Aldred(Justin), Ashley Blalock, Shelby Smith(Chase), Dr. Win Lyle(Catherine), Natalie Dickerson(Doug), Alison Sanda(Mark), Bevin Ellenburg(Cooper), Reagan Thompson(Colin).

Dorothy was Born in Chattanooga, Tn. but chose to retire in Birmingham, Al to be near her family. She shared her Christ-like spirit with everyone she met. She was loving, compassionate, and kind to everyone. She could make homemade potato soup that could cure any ailment and she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

A private family service was held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery in Pelham, Al at 10:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Rainbow Omega 100 Hope Dr. Eastaboga, Al 36206.
