Dorothy "Kathy" Kathleen Redford

She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Johnson; father in law, Russell Redford Sr.; mother in law, Marguerite Redford; sister, Paula Koonce; and beloved cousin and friend Ann Lee Inneriarity.

Kathy is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 55 years, Russell Redford, Jr; daughter, Debbie Baca (Steve); son, Rusty Redford (Kristy). Grandchildren, William Robert, Lacey Amic (Bob), Caitlyn Mazzali (Matt), Madison Redford and Grayson Redford. Great grandchildren, Owen Stroud, Riley Stroud, Ryker Amic and Charlotte Raelynne Amic. Her mother, Betty Cloud Johnson, and sister, Jenny Lewis (Don), brother in law, Gene Koonce Sr., and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

After a long career in banking, Kathy was a retired banking executive with SouthTrust Bank. She was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Her greatest passion was her husband, children and grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than sharing special moments and holidays with the ones she loved. She never met a stranger and took a personal interest in those she came to meet. Her compassion and generosity are unmatched. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2020 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. The family will receive guests at 10:00 am, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am.
