Edna Earle Joiner Bowerman

Edna Earle Bowerman, 86, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday morning, April 13, 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the youngest of five children born to Curtis Herbert Joiner and Nancy Elizabeth Little Joiner on July 13, 1931.

Mrs. Bowerman was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Herb Joiner and Maurice Joiner; and grandson, Nathan Bowerman. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald Boyd Bowerman, Sr.; sons, Donald B. Bowerman, Jr. (Lisa) and David Eugene Bowerman (Joni); daughters, Cynthia Leigh Bowerman Quisenberry (Chip) and Susan Faye Jackson (Jeff); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Harriet Whalen; and brother, Walt Joiner.

Mrs. Bowerman was a lifelong member of the Church of God, currently active in Riverchase Community Church. She and Don focused their lives on service to the church, their family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Riverchase Community Church with Pastor Tony Weiger officiating.
