Elaine Brandenberg Storey, 62, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Baptist Health Shelby Hospital. The Birmingham, Alabama native attended Shelby Academy and was employed for many years at Accenture' in Birmingham.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Bessie Brandenberg. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Tim; daughter, Candice Hostetter (Avery); son, Chris Bryars (Andrea); daughter, Jamie Chaviers (Brian); brothers, Steve and John Brandenberg; sisters, Diane Seales and Charlotte Hinkle; and 11 grandchildren.
Laney, as she was known to family and friends, was a member of Siluria Baptist Church, where she worked for many years with children's ministry. She was a member of the Adult 2 Bible class and a kitchen worker. She was a diligent volunteer in her church and always manifested a willing spirit and a pleasant attitude. She was a devoted mother and a doting grandmother.
Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama. Pastor Michael Brooks will officiate.
