Elizabeth Lint Eich (Vedel) of Indian Springs Village, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16, 1940 in Birmingham to the late Bruce and Helen Lint.
Elizabeth was passionate about her Christian faith, her family, and her many close friendships. Her professional career included many years of working alongside her husband, Roy Eich, to manage Bearings & Power Transmission, Inc., a company they founded in 1979.
After Roy's passing in 2008, Elizabeth remained actively involved at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was grateful for the spiritual support of her pastor, Donny Acton. Later in life, she was blessed with a second chance at love when she reunited with and married her high school sweetheart, Murrey Vedel, who preceded her in death. Their marriage brought her happiness, companionship, and joy.
In her leisure, Elizabeth enjoyed playing tennis, traveling with her friends, spending time with family, and helping others.
Left to cherish their memories of her are Elizabeth's three daughters, Ronda Vines, Cindy Strength (Jon), and Pam Stanley (Griffin); and grandchildren, Madilyn Vines, Emily Vines, Mason Vines, Madison Head, Lily Head, Madyson Strength, Katherine Stanley, and Griff Stanley.
The family will greet friends on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama from 1-2 p.m. The visitation will be immediately followed by A Service of Thanksgiving to God for Elizabeth's Life at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage, Pelham.
