Mrs. Smith and her husband of 70 years, Clay Smith, raised a family in Vestavia Hills, AL, where they attended Vestavia Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith was an artist and entrepreneur.
She is survived by her sons, Rick and Larry; her daughter, Susan; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her husband and her daughter, Ree.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 12 noon before the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Dr. Gary Furr will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Elizabeth Dunlap Smith's name to The Birmingham Museum of Art.
