Elsie Marie Wade Kirkpatrick, 85, of Helena passed away peacefully on August 16, 2013. She was born September 1, 1927 and was a long time member of Helena CP Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian & Clarence Wade, son Phillip Kirkpatrick, brothers Garnett and Glenn Wade, sister Edna Fulgham, and son-in-law Bobby Broadhead. She is survived by her daughter Jan Broadhead, granddaughters Michelle (Eric) Burt, and Philicia (Curt) Danner, great grandchildren Alexis & AJ Danner and Elijah Burt, sister Elizabeth Nelson, brother Harold (Edna) Wade and numerous nieces and nephews. The family is most appreciative of the loving kindness provided by Comfort Care Hospice and sitters, Almedia Anderson and Tonya Melvin. Visitation will be Monday August 19 from 6-8pm and the funeral will be Tuesday August 20 at 2pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, AL.
