

Eva Pearl DiGiorgio, age 85, of Shelby County, Alabama passed away Monday, March 9, 2020. Eva was born in Flintville, Tennessee on September 27, 1934. She was a long time member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.
Eva was preceded in death by her loving husband, George S. DiGiorgio; beloved father and mother, William Ernest and Ruby (Bradford) Barnett; brothers, Dwight Barnett, Danny Barnett, and Ben Marshall Barnett; and granddaughters, Chastity Miller and Tammie Vess.
Survivors include Eva's brothers, Shelton (Carolyn) Barnett and Willian Ernest (Mary) Barnett Jr.; her loving children, Jackie Dudley, Jo (Marc)Tuttle, Steve Goodpastor, Pam (Robby) Gleaner Sands, Tim Goodpastor, and John (Elizabeth) DiGiorgio; grandchildren, Cari Johnson, Marcus (Catherine)Tuttle, Matt (Erin)Tuttle, Jeremi Goodpastor, Kristina (Robert) Bass, Joseph (Dawn) Dewberry and Jason Gleaner; great-grandchildren, Tawni (Kenneth) Horton, Khori Bowling, Jeffery (Rebecca) Vess, Victoria Sanford, Jackson Tuttle, Taylor Goodpastor, Noah and Cade Bass, Xavior and Phoebe Dewberry, and Paxton Goodpastor; and great-great-grandchildren, Tegan and Noa Horton, Landon Skylar and Owen Vess, and Liam and Rowyn Sanford.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by A Service of Remembrance for Eva DiGiorgio at 2 p.m. at the funeral home's chapel, Pelham.
The family would like to offer their special thanks for the wonderful care provided by Hospice and Eva's nurse Darlene. They would also like to thank Meadow Brook Baptist Church for many years of the kindness and ministry they provided to Eva and her family.
