Born on May 30,1950, she lived her life with grace, love, and unyielding strength. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence Martin, whom she married in May of 1974. Together, their love stretched over 52 years of marriage, including 23 years of being a loving military wife. Eve had a love for life that was visible to everyone who knew her.
Eve possessed a resilient spirit and deep patriotic values. She stood firm during adversity and built a strong foundation for her family against the trials of military life during multiple wars.
Eve was an extraordinary woman! She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and took pride in being an amazing Nana to her grandchildren. She loved to cook large Sunday dinners for her family. She was a top-tier seamstress and an incredibly creative soul. However, her greatest love was God, her children, and her grandchildren.
Eve's personality was best described by those who knew her as gentle, loving, and fiercely strong against all odds. Her kindness and compassion illuminated the lives of those around her. She never missed an opportunity to express her love to her family and friends, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Martin; her sons, Darold Kalina (Amanda), Chris Martin (Melissa), and Cory Shepard (Tina); her brothers and sisters, Norma, Catarina, Rosa, and Benito; as well as her 6 grandchildren, Candace, Madison, Sydney, Austin, Alexus, and McKenna. Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
