Evelyn O Rossman

Evelyn Irene Oberg Rossman, age 95, formerly of Mt. Brook, AL, passed away in Germantown, TN on Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born on June 7, 1919 in San Diego, CA, where she graduated from San Diego State University. Evelyn and her family moved to Mt. Brook in 1958. She actively served in many capacities at Canterbury United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. "Bill" Rossman Sr.; her parents, Enoch and Myrtle Oberg; and her sister, Vivian Oberg Hubbard. Survivors include Evelyn's sons, W.H. "Bill" Rossman Jr. and wife Kay of Lilburn, GA, and Donald A. Rossman and wife Marion of Germantown, TN; and four grandchildren, Stephen and wife Samantha, David, Laura, and Elizabeth. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
