Frank H. Richards, age 75 of Hoover, passed away on August 17, 2015. Frank worked for 33 years with Howard Garrett and Assoc. and retired as Senior Vice President and Manager of Design\Build Operations. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Martha Richards; sons, Jon Richards and Alan (Diane Young) Richards; son-in-law, Patrick Barnes; grandchildren, Emily Barnes, Matt Barnes, Savannah Richards and James and Austin Young; sister, Cindy (Mitchell) Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene Barnes, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Richards. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22nd from 11:00 until 1:00 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, graveside services will start at 1:00pm at Southern Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the American Heart Assoc. or to the Alzheimer’s Assoc in Frank’s memory.
