Garrick was an extremely charismatic and outgoing person who would always make everyone around him laugh. He was truly a one of a kind guy. When anyone would meet him, it was an interaction that would not be easily forgotten. There isn't anyone who hung out with Garrick without, at some point, clutching their sides in pain from laughter. His laugh was the kind that would get the entire room going.
Garrick was selfless and he would never shy away from helping anyone in need. Being friends with Garrick was not shallow; it was a meaningful relationship that is timeless because you knew exactly what you were getting. It was the kind of special relationship that comes around so rarely.
Garrick will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the laughs, smiles, and stories he inspired will never be forgotten. He was deeply loved by his family and he is survived by his mother, Harriet Munoz (Bernardo); his father, Keith Burdette; and his siblings, Branden (Amy), Somer, Adriana (Zack), Paula (Alex), and Bernardo Jr.
Viewing will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, with the funeral service immediately following at 12 noon in the funeral home's chapel.
