Gary Wallace Euler

Gary was born August 2, 1932 in Birmingham AL to Charles C. and Okelea W. Euler. Gary graduated in 1951 from Jones Valley High School and continued his education at the University of Alabama, earning a degree in Engineering. He volunteered for four years service in the United States Air Force, serving as a flight engineer in North Africa and in Europe. Following his military service, Gary was employed as a registered professional engineer with U.S. Steel Corporation for 31 years and at Vulcan Materials Company for 11 years. He was a member of Fairfield First United Methodist Church for 31 years and Mountain Chapel United Methodist for 34 years.

Gary will be remembered for his devotion to family and friends, his humor, and his caring spirit. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Barbara Ann Lanier, and he is survived by three children - Joy Euler Davenport, John Kenneth Euler, Jill Euler Simpson. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Ryan Davenport (April) and Katie Simpson and two great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Davenport and Lily Davenport.

A private family service will be held on January 4, 2021 at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham Alabama and will be officiated by Pastor Lewis Archer.
