Gerald R. Hill, 87, of Sterrett, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025. He was born in Winfield, Alabama on April 22, 1938.
Until his retirement, Gerald had a long, professional career in law enforcement with The City of Birmingham, Alabama. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Gerald was predeceased by one brother, Danny Hill. He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine, to whom he was married on February 7, 1959; his son, Darryl; his daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Kenneth; one grandson, Taylor and wife Krystal; and two granddaughters, Jada and Kayla.
The funeral services for Gerald will be private.
