

He is preceded is death by his parents, Eldridge and Ruby Ridgeway; and his daughter, Sandi Lynn Ridgeway.
He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on August 4, 1939. Harold graduated from Phillips High School and University of Alabama. He was married on August 10, 1958 to Sandra Tyler Ridgeway, who survives him. He is also survived by daughters, Susan Michelle Bartlett and Shannon Renea Lamoureux (fiancé Joel Childers); four grandchildren, Melinda Bartlett (Danielle), Russ Lamoureux (Virginia), Christopher Bartlett, and Emma Lamoureux; and great-granddaughter Sophie Kate Bartlett-Box. He is also survived by brother Ron Ridgeway (Janice) of Georgia, and a niece and nephew.
Harold owned steel fabricating plants known as Shelby Steel Fabricators and NuSteel Fabricators, both of which he sold, and was presently retired. He also continued to be involved in business ventures. He was a member of the Red Elephant Club, Tide Pride, and Alabama Quail Hunters, and had a passion for Alabama football, hunting and fishing, working with his many birddogs, travel, love of country, and most of all family.
Funeral services will be at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, Alabama, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, with visitation from 1:30 to 2:30, service at 2:30 in the chapel, and burial at Southern Heritage.
