Hector was a beloved father, son, and brother. He is survived by his daughter, Rayne; Rayne's mother, Leslie Carroll; his son, Will; his mother, Elia; his brother, Efren; and his sisters, Norma and Yaneth. He is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.
To those who knew him most, Hector was more than family - He was a source of strength, joy, and laughter. His daughter, Rayne, was his pride and joy, the center of his world, and the bond they shared was unmatched.
Hector worked for many years at Olive Garden, where he left a lasting impression on co-workers, regulars, and friends. His warmth, humor, and kindness made him unforgettable to everyone who met him.
Beyond his work, Hector found joy in the simple but meaningful things in life. He loved fishing, especially the quiet and peace that came with being near the water. He also had a unique love for collecting - always finding cool, unusual, and interesting things. To him, these little treasures weren't just objects; they were reminders of life's small wonders and the beauty in everyday moments. It was part of his charm and one of the many ways he left people smiling.
Hector will be remembered for his kindness, his incredible spirit as a father, and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him.
The visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama will include a special time at 7 p.m. for family and friends to share their fond memories of Hector.
