Herbert Anthony Martin

Herbert Anthony (Tony) Martin, 64, of Calera, Alabama died Monday, December 23, 2024. He was born on July 23, 1960 in North Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Tracie Martin. His parents, Jack and Olga Martin, preceded his death. He has two sons from his first marriage: the late Chris Martin and David (Alisha) Martin. Grandchildren include Landon, Jaxon, Tyler, Kylee, and Addy.

Tony was known for his sense of humor and was quite the prankster. He was an avid fan of classic rock. He was the drummer in a local Southern rock group, "Main Street Band." He loved the Food Network Channel and was an excellent cook. He had his own signature dishes.

Tony was generous and tender hearted, rescuing many cats and dogs from shelters and streets. He was a polite man; nice to people, even when they were unkind. Most importantly, Tony had faith in the Lord Jesus as his Savior.

There comes a time in life when everything seems to come together. That was the day I married my best friend. The one I laughed with, lived for, and will forever love.
