Iva Jewell Farr

Jewell graduated from Haynesville High School and launched her long-time, clerical career. Her favorite pastimes included sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm James "Buster" Farr, and her parents, Verda Smith Pullig and Orleans Hawthorne Pullig. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Farr Parris and her husband, Melton Parris; one son, James Byron Farr; and two grandchildren, Kathryn Parris and Christian Parris.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Birmingham from 9-10 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the church, 5514 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, AL 35242. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
