Jake Darrin Davis

Jake graduated from Pelham High School in 2013 and attended Jefferson State Community College. He loved music and played guitar in several bands. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham.

Jake dearly loved his brothers and sisters. He was 12 years older than his youngest sister, Rylee, and he adored her. He called every night just to talk to her.

Jake was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Sue Davis; his maternal grandfather, Richard Savage; and one aunt, Caroline Thompson.

Survivors include Jake's parents, Darrin and Claudia Davis; brother, Daniel Davis; sisters, Mallory and Rylee Davis; grandparents, Cornelia Savage and Jack Davis (Kaye); and aunts and uncles, Keith and Kathy Davis, Jason and Kari Price, Stephanie Jordan, Elizabeth and Wendell Sheffield, and Rucker Thompson. Other survivors include many cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by A Celebration of Jake's Life at 2:30 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, Alabama.
