James Earl Hill

James was united in holy matrimony with Cindi Borella on September 25, 1999, in Sylacauga, Alabama. Their union was blessed with three children.

James owned his own flooring company and worked in flooring for over 30 years.

In his leisure, James loved life and loved his family. Spending time with his grandchildren were one of his favorite hobbies.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Brice Hill, and brother, Joe Brice Hill Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his spouse, Cindi Borella Hill; children, Jackie Nelson, Matthew Hill (Kylie), and Joseph Hill (India); grandchildren, Issac Hill (7 years old), Jonah Hill (5 years old), Eli Hill (3 years old), and Toby Hill (4 months old); parents, Joe Brice Hill and Lillie Pearl Self Hill; siblings, John (Mary) Hill, Tommy (Amanda) Hill, Dana Hill Thompson, and Brenda Hill McDonald.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Harless Cemetery at 2:30 pm immediately following the chapel service.

From Alabaster on U.S. Hwy. #31 South, turn right onto Ala. Hwy. #119 South (toward Montevallo). Turn left onto County Hwy. #24 East. Cemetery is on the left between Ala. Hwy. #119 and County Hwy. #12 (past Ebenezer United Methodist Church).
