Carol, 
My heart is broken for you and David’s family. 
David was a dear friend to me and Jim and I both loved him!
After Jim passed David helped me with some chores I couldn’t do.
He just showed up one day, removed a flat tire on the boat trailer and had it repaired in no time and back on the boat trailer. 
Helped me with a real estate matter.
Always had a listening ear for my questions. 
He was a good man with a kind heart.
You both invited me to your home for dinner, which was so thoughtful. 
I will stop by and see you when I’m down next.
