Jane Hutton Stewart, age 82, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. She was born to the late Russell Walker and Marion Sibley Hutton in Birmingham, Alabama, on December 11, 1941.
Jane received her formal education at Ramsey High School. She furthered her education at The University of Alabama, TCU, and UAB to complete her Masters of Education.
She worked for Birmingham City Schools as a Teacher for 27 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading and bird watching.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lisa Avant and her brothers, David and Ross Hutton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Fred E. Stewart; her daughter, Amanda Stewart Jones (Bill); grandchildren, Jeremy Hutton Jones (Hannah) and Caitlin Jones Kimbrel (Cameron); one great-grandchild, Cash Ryan Kimbrel.
