Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Julius Holtorf. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Dennis E. Larsen; sister, Joan Kelly; twin brother, Julian Holtorf; 5 nieces and 4 nephews; along with many other loving family and friends. Jeanette was an active member of the Inverness Ladies Golf Association at the Inverness Country Club. She was born and raised in Carrol, Iowa, then later met the love of her life in Omaha, Nebraska and got married on Halloween in 1964. Jeanette and Dennis then moved to the Midwest and eventually moved to the Birmingham area where they both retired. Jeanette was a very loyal member to St. Marks Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at St. Marks Catholic Church (7340 Cahaba Valley Rd., Birmingham, AL 35242) on Saturday 11-7 starting at 11am with mass at 12pm with an inurnment at the church’s columbarium.
