She was born on July 29, 1932, in Butler, Alabama, to the late John Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Wade.
Anne was married to John E. Bright for 33 years until his death in 1988. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Bright Cobb.
For many years, Anne was a furniture and interior designer for Peck & Hills, and Ethan Allen.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sharon Bright Day (John); two grandchildren, Matthew Cobb and Cameron Day; two great-grandchildren, Logan Cobb and Riley Lynn Cobb; her brother, John Wade of Indiana; and her sister, Irene Falls of Mobile, AL.
There will be a visitation at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, from 10:00 - 11:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
