Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree (Chemical Engineering) from Syracuse University in December, 1980. His chemical engineering profession led him to Rome, Georgia where he was last employed for nine years by FP-Pigments, Inc.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Greg (Linda) Neiger. He is survived by his long-time friend and companion, Beverly Chopin and sons Jeffrey D. (Kelly) Chopin, Brian M (Kristi) Chopin, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by siblings, Cindy (Tim) Meade, Christopher (Anne Marie) Neiger, and Nancy Neiger, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Mass and memorial service will be held for Jeff in New Orleans, Louisiana. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a definite date could not be set at this time.
