He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 23, 1953, to Jack Gerald Gray and Myra Smith Gray. After graduating from Berry High School, he attended the University of Montevallo and graduated with a business degree in 1975. Jeff was also a member of Delta Chi fraternity.
When he was not working, you could find him playing music on one of the many guitars he owned or tinkering around with various engines. Jeff adored all animals but was especially fond of his dog, Bonnie. He was kind hearted and generous and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death is his father, Jack Gerald Gray.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Nancy Rube Gray; his son, Austin Jarrod Gray; and his mother, Myra Smith Gray.
A private family burial took place at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
