Jeffrey Allen Putman

Jeffrey “Jeff” Putman, age 63, found peace on July 14, 2026, following a long battle with heart disease and diabetes. He was the beloved son of John Parker Putman and Sylvia Lee Hicks Putman. He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, along with his younger brother, Andrew Putman; his nephew, Hudson; and his niece, Aurelia, and many dear friends.

Jeffrey spent majority of his life in the Alabaster, Alabama area, where he earned the respect of many as a skilled carpenter. His strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on friends and everyone who knew him.

We find peace knowing that Jeff is with his Lord and Savior and is made new and whole again in Heaven.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A chapel service will follow.
