Survivors include Jimmy's wife, Carolyn Santoro Levio; children Jasper Levio (Debra), Marie Shamray, Cecilia Ritondo (John), and Christina Levio; grandsons, John Ritondo III, Justin Ritondo, Jacob Ritondo, Joshua Ritondo and Matthew Shamray; granddaughter, Sarah Shamray; and brother Joe Levio.
Jimmy worked at Winn Dixie for 53 years, during which time he earned the position of Produce Manager. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, Alabama, where he served as an usher and was a 3rd degree in the Knights of Columbus as well as member of the Italian American Heritage Club. His devotion to God, family and others was evident by the way he lived.
Jimmy loved spending time with family and friends and traveling throughout the United States and abroad. His favorite pastime was attending events for his grandchildren and watching old cowboy movies and game shows.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Hoover, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama. Everyone is invited to A Celebration of Life Reception immediately following the gravesite committal service.
