Heartfelt sympathy to the family of Mr. Galloway. The lives that he impacted are too many to name. I am forever grateful to have known such a wonderful man.

My prayers are with Barb and the family. John Galloway truly made a difference in my life and career. I will always have so many wonderful stories to tell. The great thing about JG is that you didn't have to guess what he was thinking. He didn't mind telling you. He helped mold me into the administrator I am today. He always said "it's my way or the Gallo-way!" I am so glad he was a part of my life and I'm so glad to have received the opportunity to meet Barb and share memories with them both including their wedding day. JG will always remain in my heart.

John was one of my first assistant coaches during a turbalant time at Fairfield High School.  I had lost touch with him am saddened to hear of his passing.

I had the opportunity to experience the toughness and love of Coach John Wayne Galloway while attending Jones Valley High School. His unique style of teaching and discipline won the hearts of many students. I was one of them. He loved his students and was vigilant as he watched over them. That what a good shepherd does. I'm sorry to hear of Coach Galloway's passing. He was a great coach and leader. I was able to really get to know him in my 10th grade year @ HHS. Sorry to hear tha Coach Glloway has passed away.I worked with him in the Quarterback Club when he was the coach at Hueytown .,and he umpired at the ball park where I coached a baseball team. Jackie also worked a summer where I worked at Brookwood Medical Center.John was a good football coach and person.

Coach Galloway was my Math teacher at Jones Valley High School.  He always had an encouraging word for his students.  I was very sorry to read of his passing.  May God bless and keep his family is my prayer.

I have so many fond memories of going to our grandmothers and all the cousins being there including John, Philip and Jackie. Hope all of you feel our love and support during this very difficult time.

My heart hurts.  John Galloway was my Vice Principal when I taught at Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School.  He was always thoughtful and sincere.  I can't think of John without a smle breaking across my face.  He was a role model and a mentor to many a young man.  My thoughts and prayers are with John's family and everyone that knew and loved him.

Really sad about this news was my football coach for 4years at Jones Valley my heart goes out to his family ..great man
