He was born on August 2, 1942 to Tommy and Lily (Kassouf) Pharo.
Johnny lived life his way, had a heart of gold, and enjoyed helping others.
He served in the Army National Guard and retired honorably as a Sergeant First Class.
Known to many as the man behind Johnny's TV Repair, he enjoyed playing cards, fishing, karaoke, Lebanese food, family, and most of all, life.
Johnny's proudest accomplishment was his family. He is survived by his sons, Jonny Anthony Pharo and Christopher Thomas Pharo, sister, Joyce Ann (Anthony) Tombrello, and brother, Tommy George Pharo. He remained lifelong friends with Frances Marie Pharo (Tombrello).
He adored his children and grandchildren and extended that love to so many others, treating them as his own.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at St. Elias Church in Birmingham, AL, and interment will be 1:00 PM on Monday, October 20th at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
