Johnny M. Singleton passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on April 28, 2019. Johnny retired as a Chief Master Sgt. from The Alabama Air National Guard after 39 years of service to his country. After retirement, he pursued his passion for golf working at Bent Brook Golf Course for 12 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Waide Singleton, Daughters, Jamie L. Singleton, Johna Smith (Dave), Stacie S. Hollon. Three grandchildren, Claire, Spencer, and Maddie Hollon and his best friend, his dog Sadie. Siblings, Jimmy, Randy, Nancy, Patsy. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 9:30-11:00. A Celebration of his life will be at 11:00 Thursday at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a graveside at Montevallo Alabama National Cemetery.
