I used to attend brother Joe’s Thursday services.  Brother Joe was more than a teacher to me, he was a counselor and a life guide.  Brother Joe taught me everything I know about the Bible and God’s word, which is quite extensive thanks to him.  When my mom passed away, he presided over her funeral, attendees from my job told me that it was the most beautiful funeral they had ever attended.  Prior to my mom’s passing,  I needed counseling as I was going through a divorce, Brother Joe imparted God’s word and his impeccable wisdom to me, which got me through that very difficult time.  I sincerely doubt that there is another human on the face of this planet who can teach God’s word with the depth and anointing as Brother Joe did.  This world will be a bit darker but heaven gained a true warrior of God, a St. Paul figure if there ever was one.   I never met Brother Joe’s wife or his son,  but I pray for them as I know they’ve lost an amazing man.  His love for his family was evident in the examples he’d give as he taught us.  Rest in peace, Brother Joe.  Thank you for being a blessing in my life and that of my mom.  You are sorely missed.

I am so sorry to know this. I sat under his teaching for 10 years and have a lot of his taped. He was a wonderful teacher. I learned so much from home. I moved in 1999. Kept getting his cassettes for years. He was a Godly man.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Mr. Joe Medina’s  family.  I met Mr. Medina thru Brenda at TLC.   I met with instructors and scheduled classes.  So I was able to sit and talk with him often.   He was always so kind to answer my questions when I needed a better biblical understanding on several topics.   He answered in a way that allowed me to fully understand the meaning.  The tribute that he recorded for his lifelong friend Ms. Brenda was one I believe I will always remember.   Their friendship, their faith and their love for the Lord  certainly  stands out prominently in their lives.  May God comfort his family in the days to come as I know they will miss Mr. Medina deeply.

Sending prayers to the family. I knew Joe through Brenda and TLC. I took many classes from him and learned so so much. I really appreciated what he stood for, his relationship with Brenda, and conversations we had when I have to call him to reschedule board meetings. I had no idea he was founder of Daily Bread Ministries until today. That is one ministry that is very close to my heart, even more so now. He will be missed! Rest in Peace

I am so sorry for your loss.....  His ministry impacted my life in so many ways... My mom is the one who introduced me to his Bible study and I will be forever grateful!

I’d like to share a sweet memory. 

From her birth, I would bring our granddaughter Abigail to Bro. Joe’s meetings on Thursday mornings and evenings.  He would always call her up to pray for her.  This particular Thursday morning we left and Abigail was very excited.  She was about 2 years old.  She was talking non-stop and with great intensity.   I could not understand her.  I was finally able to stop and ask her what she was telling me.  She said:”Meme, God didn’t pray for me!”   It was precious and funny at the same time.  Her association of Bro Joe as God is priceless.  What an impression!  

Danna and I are forever grateful for Bro Joe.  He sowed into our lives  for  many years.

Joe was a good friend to me. I learned so much related to the Word of God under him. I will greatly miss my friend. I will see you again in the Kingdom of God my Brother.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Joe. Always loved his deep teachings and prophetic voice.  I know that it’s difficult to imagine the wonderful homecoming he received upon entering heaven.  Loss is still hard on us left behind temporarily.  I live in a different state now so I won’t be able to be at the service. Please know he left a big impact on my life. Joe was my Father in law for over 31 years. His love for God & his family will always be remembered. One of my greatest memories will always be: All of us pilling up, in their den, to watch Alabama football 🏈 & just embracing being  together. He loved his Tide.  Thank you for allowing me to have your daughter, for life.  Good speed Papa Joe.
