Josephine was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Loyd Eugene Richardson; her parents, Louis C. and Frances Alescia Lovoy; and four siblings. Survivors include Josephine's daughters, Diane and Carole Richardson.
Josephine was born in Ensley, Alabama and graduated from Phillips High School. She worked in woman's apparel at Loveman's and retired from Parisian. She loved being outdoors and gardening.
Diane and Carole would like to thank family, friends, and caregivers for their continuous support.
Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2022 from 12 noon until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7340 Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham, AL 35242. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, Alabama.
Flowers or donations to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church will be appreciated.
