Joy was a long time resident of Alabama from her early childhood days until she and her husband, John, retired to their farm in Sunset, Texas.
Joy was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Ruth Damron. She leaves here to honor her memory today her husband, John Hensley, Sunset; daughter, Cindy Wallace, husband Chuck, North Richland Hills, Texas; son, Jeff Wilson, wife Denise, Pell City, Alabama; daughter, Rebecca Wilson, Sunset; and step-daughter, Leslie Hensley (Matt Jones), Weaver, Alabama.
Survivors also include Joy's grandchildren, Nicholas Wallace, Megan Wallace, Amber Wallace, Paul Ingram (Robyn), Nicholas Armstrong (Savannah), Benjamin Wilson, Noah Wilson, Elijah Wilson, Asher Wilson, Ruthie Wilson, Jacob Lloyd, Wilson Lloyd, Katherine Lloyd, Jenna Frith, Alex Frith, Kaitlyn Hensley and Chase Hensley; and great-grandchildren, Bates Wallace, Emma Wallace, Gabriel Armstrong, Liam Armstrong, June Armstrong and Ruby Armstrong.
