JOHNSON, JUDY MAC DAVIS, of Thorsby, Alabama, and a long-time resident of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, died Friday, December 2, 2011. For the past 24 years, Ms. Johnson operated a payroll service business after spending more than 20 years at Harbert Corp. and Daniel Corp. in positions including executive assistant, facilities manager, and telecommunications. She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Neal Sims of Rocky Ridge, Alabama; and her sisters, Jacqueline Sorrell (Carroll) of Hoover, Alabama and Pam Hanrahan (Gary) of Springville, Alabama; nephews, Michael and Patrick Hanrahan; and niece, Michelle Hanrahan. Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Paul Davis of Thorsby. Visitation and viewing: 1-2 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, with 2 p.m. funeral following in the funeral home's chapel. Interment: Southern Heritage Mausoleum, Pelham. Pallbearers: Gary, Michael and Patrick Hanrahan, Ronnie Howard, Greg Calico, and Bobby Shields.
