A friend. A friend to my grandparents. A friend to my parents. A friend to my wife and myself and our kids. Judy Ingram was one of my favorites! I am saddened by her passing. I'm really glad that our paths crossed!

I remember playing cards with Judy and the family. Every time it was my turn, I would play my hand and say “I’m done.” After a few rounds, Judy corrected me and said “you’re finished.” I think of her every time I hear “I’m done.”

She was such a sweet lady. It has been a pleasure knowing her over the years.

Judy and I taught together at West Birmingham Christian School from 1976-1978. I was fresh out of college, and she helped steer me as a fresh-out-of-college teacher. I visited in her home several times. I have thought so highly of her. Tremendous friend and example. She was a wonderful Christian example and friend. Prayers for her family.
