WOODARD, KAY ROPER, age 68, of Helena, Alabama, passed away Monday morning, October 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delore Thomas Roper and James Earle Roper. Survivors include Kay's husband, Bill Woodard; children, Al Schlosser and Beth Williams (Chris); grandchildren, Marie Williams and Samantha Williams; sister, Delore Clark (Wayne); niece, Lisa Burke (John); nephews, Chip Westberry (Missy) and Jim Westberry (Soo Hoon); great-nieces, Courtney Burke (Aaron) and Rebekah Westberry; and great-nephews, Jeremy Burke, Jonathan Westberry, Matthew Westberry, and Morgan Westberry. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church, Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Tom Parrish, officiant. Private graveside service: Thursday, October 18, 2012, Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
