Kenneth Benjamin Krueger

Krueger, Kenneth Benjamin, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away on October 14, 2012. Mr. Krueger attended The University of Missouri-Rolla and graduated from the University of Missouri in St. Louis with a BS in Business. He began his career at LaClede Steele Company and was a Manufacturer’s Rep for years in the steel industry, lastly working for Joe H. Smith Company. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Benjamin Krueger and Melba Krueger. Survivors: His loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Mrs. Ashley Krueger; daughters, Kim (Drew) Stringfellow of Marysville, Ohio, Trisha (Randy) Maxwell of Helena, Alabama and Meredith (Anthony) Mize of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Emma, Hope, Lily and Grace Stringfellow, McKinley and Cameron Maxwell and Reese Mize; sisters, Karen (Lou) Student, and Kris (Mike) Gordinier; nephew, Christopher Gordinier; niece, Bridget Gordinier . Funeral services will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home October 19, 2012 at 1:00pm with burial in Southern Heritage Cemetery. Ken will be fondly remembered and missed by many. The family wants to give special thanks to the rehab team at Brookwood Hospital, and especially, nurse, Melinda, a true angel. Very special thanks to Dr. Luis Pineda for providing trust and peace during a difficult time. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
